About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to join our team at Upward Title and Closing. As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely completion of real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the closing representative in preparing and processing loan documents, including vesting amendments when applicable.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of real estate purchase contracts, ensuring all necessary information is complete and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with agents, buyers, sellers, lawyers, lenders, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the closing process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transactions, including file management and document tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with all parties involved, providing clear and concise updates on the status of transactions.
Requirements
  • 1-4 years of experience in escrow processing or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
