Job Overview

DAEOC is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing care and educational development to children ages 0-3, while also engaging their families in accordance with Federal Head Start Performance Standards.

This position requires effective communication skills to coordinate with local resource providers and support families' needs. A valid Missouri driver's license, transportation, and insurance are necessary for this role.

Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and/or Child Development or a related field
  • Previous professional experience working with children and families is preferred
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $13.51 - $20.47 per hour, based on education level. Additionally, benefits include employer-paid medical, dental, vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, an employer-subsidized retirement plan, paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation time.
