Endoscopy Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Pinnacle GI Partners. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with shift times varying between 5 am and 4 pm. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating endoscopic equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including administering throat spray and injecting saline or dye under physician supervision.
• Operate endoscopic equipment, ensuring proper cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of instruments.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Universal Precautions and infection control protocols.
• Restock supplies as needed and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience as an Endoscopy Technician or Medical Assistant, and current BLS certification. You should also be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
