About the Position

Konami Gaming, Inc. is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer IV, Unity Game Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for researching, designing, and developing innovative software in support of the strategic development roadmap for the Games Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Formulate and design software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
  • Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
  • Establish current and long-range objectives, plans, policies, timelines, and game design and completion schedules of product releases.
  • Analyze new technologies and lead in technical vision of new projects or product lines.
  • Report discrepancies or problems requiring resolution to management.
  • Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
  • Collaborate with teams of engineers, designers, artists, and others as necessary to ensure quality and market criteria meet product plan and customer requirements.
  • Able to build consensus and serves as a mentor for new or lower-level software engineers on the team.
  • Promote change in process and product by proactively implementing solutions with cooperation and buy-in from the team.
