Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of roadway, traffic, and intelligent transportation system design packages.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant codes and engineering standards.
  • Conduct engineering calculations and prepare cost estimates.
  • Gather and analyze data for topographic surveys and right-of-way assessments.
  • Create and compile technical documentation.
  • Follow established quality control protocols to deliver high-quality work.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with team members and clients.
  • Work under the guidance of a licensed professional engineer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience in transportation engineering.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, with experience in MicroStation or AutoCAD preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Work Environment:

This position involves a combination of office and fieldwork, requiring the use of standard office equipment and occasional exposure to various environmental conditions.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $62,400 - $85,000 annually. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
