Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst is a proactive and dedicated professional with a robust work ethic. This role is crucial for delivering comprehensive financial analysis related to the monthly financial close process. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate, timely, and relevant financial reporting and forecasting support for Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough, timely, and precise analysis for month-end and quarterly close results in comparison to budget, forecast, and previous year.
  • Analyze the effects of foreign currency fluctuations and translation impacts on financial outcomes.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Perform variance analysis and communicate significant issues and trends.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and management to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Engage in special projects and analyses as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Address, research, and resolve inquiries from subsidiaries and regional offices related to US GAAP and company policies.
  • Assist with year-end audits involving international subsidiaries and regional offices.
  • Work with IT on enhancements and updates to reporting software related to system upgrades and financial reporting improvements.
  • Lead special projects aimed at enhancing process efficiency and performance.
  • Support regions and subsidiaries in addressing reporting and training requirements.
  • Recommend process improvement solutions for system applications.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Ability to manage large data sets, perform data mining, and demonstrate advanced Excel and report writing skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with a sense of urgency, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • A critical thinker capable of applying knowledge and expertise to analyze financial performance and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly articulate reporting needs and leverage expertise to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally with 3 years in a Financial Analyst role within a multinational organization.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Understanding of Foreign Currency Translations.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks using strong analytical skills.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with financial systems such as Workday Financials, Adaptive, and CargoWise One is preferred.
  • Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions is advantageous.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment under standard office conditions. Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required to fulfill the responsibilities of this role. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear. The role may also require stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
