Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Manage guest orders efficiently and effectively, while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve our culinary goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques, and be willing to learn and adapt to new recipes and procedures.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and organized, and that all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Monitor and control food costs, and ensure that all inventory is properly managed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the sous chef or executive chef.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant or banquet kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Food handler certification.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and implement basic culinary tasks and procedures, such as FIFO, labeling, sanitation, cleanliness, and protein storage.

This position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus, after 90/180 days of continuous employment, paid in two installments.
