Position Summary: As an Accessory Maintenance Specialist at Resiliency LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality of accessory components. Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, testing, and inspecting aviation accessory equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs, modifications, and testing in alignment with manufacturer guidelines and established repair station protocols.
- Diagnose product malfunctions and execute necessary maintenance to restore items to operational status.
- Utilize electronic testing equipment as needed for effective troubleshooting and testing.
- Employ hand tools accurately to carry out essential maintenance tasks.
- Perform soldering tasks adhering to industry standards.
- Document all work and inspections thoroughly as required.
- Engage in clear communication with supervisors and team members.
Additionally, you will be involved in routine assembly operations for CFM56 engine mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and associated aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories, following OEM manual procedures.
Qualifications:
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in engine harness wire routing, dressing, and repairs.
- Proficient in cannon plug repairs and wire connections, including resistance and continuity testing.
- Experience in functional testing of fuel nozzles and testing/repairing ball screw actuators and VSV actuators.
- Familiarity with testing equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted for approximately 25% of the workday. Regularly required to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
Skills and Certifications:
CFM56 certification is preferred.
