Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food to patients, staff, and visitors in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Clean and sanitize food service areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Operate food warmers, refrigerators, and other equipment to ensure food is served at the correct temperature.
  • Assist with food preparation, including weighing and measuring ingredients, and following recipes and menus.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
  • Prior experience in food service or a related field (Preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
