The Interventional Radiology department plays a vital role in providing care to a diverse range of patients, from those who are stable to those who are critically ill. This department is recognized for its excellence in stroke care at both the national and state levels.

Nurses in this specialty collaborate closely with skilled radiologic technologists, physician assistants, and physicians to deliver high-quality care. They are responsible for administering conscious sedation and monitoring patients in a critical care environment, ensuring a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during procedures.

The procedures performed include angiograms, various drainage techniques, central venous access, and tube placements, among others. Our team is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes and quality of life through innovative practices and advanced technology.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
  • Valid RN license in the applicable state.

  • Understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and rhythm interpretation is preferred.
