About the Role:
- Assess assigned patients and develop, implement, and document nursing care plans.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice.
- Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Utilize experience and judgment to plan and achieve objectives.
- Train in monitoring, circulating, medicating, and scrubbing procedures.
- Day shift, 4x10 schedule with varying days.
Requirements:
- Valid FL RN license.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Critical Care, ER, or Cath Lab.
