POSITION SUMMARY:

At Nevada Heart and Vascular Center, the Technical Business Analyst plays a crucial role under the guidance of the Vice President of Information Technology. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the comprehensive design of designated technical initiatives, whether they involve custom solutions or product strategies. The analyst will also provide recommendations for optimal practices tailored to client business requirements.

This role necessitates a strategic approach to design, thorough mapping of business needs, and effective software configuration aligned with system and technical specifications. The ideal candidate should be adept at engaging during pre-sales discussions and capable of articulating viable solutions based on experience with Cloud-Based Software applications, such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems including athenaOne, eClinicalworks, NetSuite, Intacct, and Salesforce.

The Technical Business Analyst will be tasked with drafting precise technical specifications for custom development and system integration, derived from direct interactions with clients and the professional services team. These specifications must be clear and concise, as the analyst will delegate tasks to team members, including developers and consultants.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Healthcare, coupled with 5-8 years of consulting experience in managing healthcare business applications.
  • Preferred experience in both technical and healthcare environments.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records, Practice Management, and Revenue Cycle Management in healthcare is preferred.
  • Experience with athenaOne, either Base or Advanced, is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Visio) for 3-5 years.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated capability to analyze and comprehend clinical business requirements.
  • Experience in configuring SaaS Electronic Medical Records for 3-5 years.
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare interfaces, including HL7 or open API, for 3-5 years.
  • Quick learner with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to assume leadership when necessary.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.
