Key Responsibilities:
General Duties:
1. Establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients and colleagues.
2. Observe and report any side effects or reactions related to client medications.
3. Intervene to prevent any harmful behavior from clients towards themselves or others.
4. Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines.
5. Conduct regular checks of the facility, including client living areas and administrative offices.
6. Record client activities in the communication log throughout the shift.
7. Measure and document client blood pressure as needed.
8. Engage in quality management initiatives.
9. Perform additional tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
Daily/Weekly Duties:
1. Monitor all client activities continuously.
2. Utilize effective behavior management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
3. Ensure adherence to organizational policies both on and off the premises.
4. Observe client behavior during off-site activities.
5. Document observations and incidents in the communication log.
6. Manage the receipt and distribution of client medications.
7. Supervise the self-administration of medications by clients.
8. Recognize and respond to any adverse effects of prescribed medications.
9. Notify the Operations Assistant of any medication-related concerns.
10. Report medication discrepancies to the Operations Manager.
11. Conduct nightly inventory of medications.
12. Collect samples for drug and alcohol testing as required.
13. Document all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
14. Oversee the distribution of client mail.
15. Ensure the preparation of evening meals meets safety standards.
16. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the facility.
17. Perform security checks of living quarters and common areas.
18. Secure all unattended areas and offices at the end of the shift.
19. Report any unusual occurrences or safety concerns to the Operations Manager or Program Director.
20. Assist with client appointments and transportation logistics.
21. Provide transportation for clients to scheduled events and appointments.
22. Welcome new clients arriving from external facilities.
23. Follow the established cleaning schedule for the office environment.
24. Carry out other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position require the employee to perform various tasks, including standing, walking, sitting, and using hands for handling objects. The employee may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and must possess specific vision capabilities.
Work Environment:
This position involves working in various environments, including exposure to changing weather conditions while transporting clients. Employees may encounter health risks associated with working with clients in a healthcare setting.
The noise level is typically moderate.

Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
3. Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
4. CPR certification is a plus.
5. Flexibility to work a night shift schedule (10 pm - 8 am).
6. Basic understanding of substance abuse treatment principles.
7. Familiarity with the 12-Step recovery philosophy is beneficial.
8. Competency in reading, writing, and communication skills.
Compensation: Hourly wage based on experience.
