Job Summary

The Austin Transit Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Budget Director to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for directing, managing, and supervising all budget, financial monitoring, planning, and analysis activities for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the budget process, including the development of timelines, written policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze program issues that impact the budget and provide strategies and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to develop short-term and long-term forecasts.
  • Provide research and analysis of municipal financing techniques.
  • Direct the gathering and analysis of financial, economic, and operations information and present information for management's use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in performing complex financial analysis, developing, monitoring, and analyzing operating and capital budgets and financial statements.
  • Three (3) years of supervising financial personnel.
