Job Title: Regional Sales Manager, Southeast

Job Summary:

KSB SE and Co KGaA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Southeast region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of sales and market development for our slurry and non-slurry product lines within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement region sales strategies, goals, and budgets in conjunction with corporate strategies and goals.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to cover the region effectively.
  • Ensure proper coverage of existing mining markets and those offering growth potential in mining within the region.
  • Manage all aspects of sales in the region, including end-user mine sites, end-user head offices, contractors, and engineering houses.
  • Expand partnership relations with sales representative companies towards customers by aiding in the development of blanket orders, stock programs, test pump programs, and scrap buy-back programs.
  • Ensure proper follow-up of all active quotations to obtain quotation status and pursue the close of sales using relevant company tools effectively.
  • Be the technical slurry pumping specialist in the market area and help customers troubleshoot any slurry pumping-related issues.
  • Makes scheduled sales calls with or without sales representatives to customers and prospects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of five years in goods sales in the Southeastern United States.
  • Knowledge of the mining market.
  • Background in slurry pumps/fluids handling.
  • Knowledge or experience of selling through representatives/distributors.

Authority:

To perform all necessary sales functions within the given region: directing the overall region sales effort, developing strategies, establishing price levels, managing local stock levels, and aiding in the selection and development of region sales representative companies.

Travel Requirements:

This position will serve as a liaison between the business and customer, so frequent customer visits will be required to maintain a good working relationship. While not at the customer site, the position will be remote.
