Job Summary

Westerman, Inc. is seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team in Casper, WY. As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating 3D models, General Arrangement drawings, and associated mechanical fabrication drawings for oil and gas processing and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D models, General Arrangement drawings, and mechanical fabrication drawings
  • Perform peer drawing checks for accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare 3D model mechanical BOM's for review/approval by Engineering

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline or equivalent training/experience
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Solidworks
  • Ability to read and comprehend P&ID's
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of packaged equipment designs, piping design, technical requirements, applicable codes and standards
  • Ability to communicate accurately, concisely, and professionally
  • Critical thinking, complex problem solving, troubleshooting, and judgment
