We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Housekeeper and Companion Caregivers at Visiting Angels Richardson. As a Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals in need.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver, you will provide a wide range of services to our clients, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and companionship. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized care and support to ensure their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
  • Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Assist clients with mobility and transportation
  • Report any changes or concerns to the client's family or healthcare provider
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical endurance to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
