Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, donation area, and storage spaces.
  • Merchandise Management: Sort, process, clean, price, and stock merchandise in the back room and on the sales floor.
  • Donation Management: Receive and assist donors, organizations, and vendors with donations, ensuring that all donations are processed and recorded accurately.
  • Sales and Marketing: Assist the Store Manager with planning and promoting merchandise sales, and participate in sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue growth.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with performing yearly inventory and reports, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory levels.
  • Teamwork: Work cooperatively with all departments and programs to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Commitment to InterAct's Mission: Demonstrate a commitment to InterAct's mission of providing safety, support, and awareness to victims and survivors of domestic and/or sexual violence and the entire community.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Math Skills and Cash Handling: Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Education and Certifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license required. Candidate must pass a criminal background check that is satisfactory to InterAct standards and adherence to InterAct's COVID requirements.
