Charge Nurse Opportunity at Louisville Care Center

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at Louisville Care Center. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and developing individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Coordinate daily administrative duties, including scheduling, patient assignments, and medical records management.
  • Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring seamless transitions and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Mentor and train new staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Monitor medical charts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Liaise with doctors and administrators, communicating effectively to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Record and maintain accurate reports, providing valuable insights for quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Licensed as a RN or LPN.
  • Further certification may be required.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare facility, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical software systems.
  • Ability to handle stress and work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
