Sales Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team at Lock Joint Tub. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth sales process of our special products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and analyze customer correspondence to identify their needs and preferences
- Collaborate with our engineering department to assess the feasibility of designing and manufacturing custom equipment
- Communicate effectively with production personnel to determine the feasibility and cost of producing special products
- Correspond with customers to provide updates on production progress and costs
- Enter customer specifications into our computer system for work order generation
- Initiate and facilitate Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) processes
- Travel occasionally to meet with customers and promote our products
- Quote prices and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
- Determine delivery dates based on our production and delivery schedules
Work Environment:
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with regular interactions with colleagues and customers. A reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Physical Demands:
The job requires frequent use of hands, fingers, and arms, as well as occasional standing, walking, and bending. The employee must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and have close and distance vision.
Requirements:
- Experience with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail
- Basic mathematical concepts and statistical knowledge
Education:
A minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is required, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
