Pediatric Home Healthcare Job Description

Job Summary:

Pediatric Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. As a Pediatric Home Healthcare RN/LVN, you will provide high-quality patient care to children in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited diploma from an Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
  • Current Texas State license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
  • Reliable transportation and proof of current and valid auto liability insurance
  • Ability to lift patients when applicable
  • IV Infusion and PICC Line experience, a plus
