We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Peckham Industries. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for hauling various materials, including liquid asphalt cement, emulsion, cutback, calcium chloride, and Ballast-Star, using Class A vehicles with tanker endorsements.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and tanker endorsement. Previous experience operating Class A vehicles, preferably in the construction or paving industry, is highly desirable. Additionally, knowledge of asphalt materials and paving operations is highly desirable.
As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Peckham Industries, you will work closely with our dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries and maintain accurate records of shipments. You will also be required to perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure road readiness.
