The Critical Care Paramedic is a highly skilled and experienced medical professional responsible for providing advanced life support and critical care services to patients in emergency and non-emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with physician-approved clinical guidelines and within the provider's defined scope of practice.
- Respond to and complete requests for service in accordance with organizational Standard Operating Guidelines, industry standards, and with customer service in mind.
- Timely and accurate completion of detailed patient care reports.
- Participate in quality assurance and oversight committee(s) within the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3+ Years of Paramedic Experience, earned from an approved paramedicine educational program.
- Nationally Registered Paramedic
- South Carolina Paramedic credential
- IBSC Board Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C), Flight Critical Care Paramedic (FP-C), or CFRN certification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & Valid Driver's License
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with ventilator operations
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification – or obtained within 6 months
- Rapid Sequence Induction/Intubation (RSI) certified/prior experience
- PHTLS, ITLS, or equivalent – or obtained within 6 months
- Prior Critical Care experience
