Job Overview

Schneider is seeking a dedicated tanker driver for our nighttime operations in the Waco, TX area. As a bulk freight hauler, you will be responsible for transporting food-grade products in tanker trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Haul up to 10 loads per week
  • Drive primarily at night
  • Operate tanker trailers with precision and care
Compensation and Benefits

As a Schneider dedicated tanker driver, you can expect a competitive salary and a range of benefits. Our estimated weekly pay is $1,310-$1,600, based on industry standards and location. Additionally, you will receive:

  • Mileage pay and hourly pay while on duty
  • Weekly performance pay
  • Paid orientation
  • Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year
Requirements

To be successful as a Schneider dedicated tanker driver, you must have:

  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Tanker endorsement required at time of hire
  • Ability to live within 50 miles of Dexter, NM, Harker Heights, TX, or Waco, TX
Bonus and Incentives

  • $200/month tuition reimbursement (up to $7,000) for qualified drivers
  • HazMat endorsement reimbursed upon receipt
  • Credit for Military Experience and Military Apprenticeship programs, plus more military benefits
