Job Description

You will supervise the daily work of the institution's dental staff and be responsible for all aspects of the clinical dental services provided to the inmate population, including periodic examinations, diagnosing oral diseases, and treating injuries. You will provide basic dental care and perform all dental treatment; assist specialists in the performance of treatment and related duties while on-site; and assure that adequate security, tool control, and Toxic and Caustic Control are carried out within the dental office.

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry. You must also be able to perform essential job functions and pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
