Meat Cutter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for receiving, rotating, cutting, wrapping, and merchandising fresh and processed meats, including grinds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and rotating fresh and processed meats
  • Cutting and wrapping meats to customer specifications
  • Merchandising meats and other related products
  • Assisting in the merchandising of seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, and pre-packed deli items
  • Assisting in the rotisserie chicken area and full-service deli

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Basic math skills and accuracy
