We are seeking a skilled Plastics Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at BISSELL Homecare. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our blow-mold machines and maintaining the highest quality standards in our manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Operation: Safely operate blow-mold machines, resin mixers, blowers, trimmers, leak checkers, grinders, and conveyors to produce high-quality products.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and identify areas for improvement.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Training and Development: Train and develop junior team members on technical skills and standard operating procedures.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Relevant experience in injection molding, blow, and film manufacturing.
- Skillset: Strong attention to detail, judgment, and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
This is a fast-paced environment with high-volume production. The standard work shift is 8 hours per day, with opportunities for overtime. The ability to lift 0-50 pounds is required.
