Pediatric Anesthesiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Hospital in Temple, Texas.

• Practice pediatric anesthesiology, including NICU babies, and all ages of children up to 18, for major trauma, neuro-anesthesia, spines, and airway surgery.
• Join a small team of pediatric anesthesiologists and work collaboratively with pediatric CRNAs and anesthesia residents in an Anesthesia Care Team Model.
• Participate in a mix of Anesthesia Care Team Model and Solo Staff Model, with a work schedule of Monday-Friday and weekend and evening call distributed by mathematical algorithm.
• Have opportunities for extra pay for call coverage, overtime, and weekend work.
• Teach Texas A&M medical students and residents, and soon Baylor College of Medicine students and residents, in academic settings.
• Work in a 106-bed acute care Pediatric Level II Trauma Center and an academic site for the Texas A&M College of Medicine.
• Collaborate with the team to provide anesthesia services at Temple Memorial Hospital, a 636-bed acute care adult hospital, and other pediatric anesthesia sites.

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
• Board certification in pediatric anesthesiology or active pursuit of board certification.
