Job Overview

The Nicklaus Children's Health System seeks a highly skilled Pediatric Clinical Director to lead our Epilepsy Program. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of pediatric patients.

Job Summary

This clinical position focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of pediatric patients with epilepsy in a multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will have exposure to a mix of general and high acuity cases, opportunities for teaching and supervision of medical residents, and participation in research and publishing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions and treatment.
  • Continuously self-educate through reading journals, CME credits, and conferences.
  • Coordinate and deliver monthly inservices for staff and resident development.
  • Follow up on tests, lab studies, and patient phone calls.
  • Provide direct clinical services, including history and physical examinations, data interpretation, treatment planning, and patient/parent teaching.
  • Maintain active and current state medical license and BLS certification.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
  • Current state medical license and good standing with medical board.
  • American Heart Association BLS - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment.
Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience.
