As a Pastry Chef at Sprinkles Cupcakes, you will play a vital role in the bakery's success by preparing a variety of baked goods, including cupcakes, cookies, and brownies, while ensuring optimal product rotation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established baking sheets to ensure accurate flavors and quantities are produced.
  • Consistently bake cupcakes to meet Sprinkles' high standards and specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness of ovens and baking areas within the kitchen.
  • Assist dishwashers and frosting team members as needed.
  • Train in frosting techniques and production preparation as required.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and fulfill job responsibilities throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Pay close attention to detail when executing instructions, particularly in decorating cupcakes.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm while adhering to policies and procedures as instructed by trainers and managers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of prior baking experience or a professional baking certification.
  • A genuine passion for the Sprinkles brand and its products.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule that may start between midnight and 3 AM.
  • Capable of working efficiently under pressure while managing time effectively.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions from management.
  • Physical ability to navigate the bakery, including bending and reaching for supplies.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, including trays of cupcakes, batter, frosting, and packaged goods.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Must be able to maintain a stationary position for significant portions of the workday.
