Responsibilities

  • Operate a lugger truck (equipped with a roll-off or lugger box) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, state, and federal regulations (DOT guidelines) throughout every operation.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and adherence to company standards.
  • Load and unload materials at client locations, demonstrating physical strength and attention to detail.
  • Operate a tow truck as needed, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch personnel and customer representatives.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class B CDL license and Medical Card are required.
  • Proven experience operating a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Roll-off experience is highly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of relevant experience and technical training.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver materials exceeding 50 pounds.
  • Five (5) years of CDL truck driving experience is advantageous.
  • Clean driving record and history.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment testing, including drug screening and physical assessments.
  • Customer-focused approach and strong teamwork skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.

Work Schedule

  • 40+ hour work week, primarily during daytime hours.
  • Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with potential for Saturday shifts as needed.
  • Overtime opportunities may be available to support business operations and production demands.
