Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, holidays, sick time, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401k plan.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our fast-growing team. As a Physical Therapist at Neogen Care, you will be responsible for planning and administering prescribed skilled physical therapy treatment and training for patients suffering from various injuries, illnesses, and functional disabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and administering prescribed skilled physical therapy treatment and training for patients
  • Testing and screening patient's physical strengths to assist in evaluating the patient's level of function and recording findings
  • Developing and implementing a conditioning/rehabilitation program consistent with the physician's Plan of Treatment
  • Conferring with physicians and clinical team members to obtain additional patient information and develop/implement the therapy treatment program and Plan of Treatment
  • Providing written instructions/care plans to Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aide staff reflecting the current plan of care
  • Monitoring the completion of documentation by Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides/Personal Care Workers

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An advanced degree of Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an institution accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
  • A current and unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of California
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs
  • Ability to care for patients with different personalities and assess patient condition and work with treatment plans
  • A minimum of 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience in an institutional setting and/or with a home health agency

Location

This position is located in Moreno Valley, CA and surrounding areas. A valid driver's license and vehicle are required.
