About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at NeurAbilities Healthcare. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-to-one with children in a clinic, home, or school setting, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities
  • Implement instructional and behavior support plans, collecting pertinent data and maintaining client program books and materials.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, assisting them in developing independent daily living, social, and communication skills.
  • Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors using ABA therapy strategies, following treatment plan goals and interventions.
  • Collaborate with family and treatment team members to provide effective treatment, educating all involved about the role of ABA-based interventions within the boundaries of the Behavior Health Technician role.
  • Utilize a call-out line and procedures to document client cancellations and report availability for sub hours to the Practice Manager or Client Services Coordinator.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of experience working with children and adolescents with Autism and other developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate well and thrive in both individual and team environments.
  • Ability to remain patient and calm when encountering challenging behaviors.
  • Must be able to travel to all service locations, including school, daycare, clinic, and home settings.
