Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York offers a rewarding career for therapists who want to make a positive difference in the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Located in Red Hook, New York, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention and treatment plans for individuals with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses.

The successful candidate will consult with residential staff on the implementation and training of individualized behavior plans, conduct observations, and provide feedback on milieu strategies associated with DPBIS.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $58,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications for this position include a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, licensure or certification as a social worker, psychologist, mental health counselor, or other related field, and at least one year of experience working with a developmentally disabled population.

Preferred qualifications include experience with behavior modification and experience in a coordinating or supervisory position.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle complex concepts and problems, and the capacity to make rapid decisions.
