Job Title: Retail Team Member

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Team Member to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. As a Retail Team Member, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing the sales floor, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers within seconds of arrival and assisting them in selecting and locating merchandise.
  • Manage the sales floor, including restocking depleted merchandise, maintaining hangers and sizing of textiles, and performing all necessary cleaning functions.
  • Operate computerized equipment, including the POS system, credit card terminal, and pricing system.
  • Meet sales quotas and make pricing decisions based on product quality.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and associates, and maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team.
  • One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write, and operate computerized equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
