  • Regularly conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing.
  • Implement automated testing (unit tests, integration tests) to catch issues early.
  • Prioritize code quality over speed.
  • Remain at the forefront of industry advancements in security, standards, and quality.
  • Define and enforce contemporary coding and integration standards.
  • Optimize resource management, ensuring efficient utilization of both internal and vendor-provided technical resources.
  • Champion code and security reviews, simultaneously mentoring the team to foster continuous improvement.
  • Lead exploratory initiatives into emerging technologies, advocating for their integration when strategically aligned.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, ensuring all team activities remain compliant.
Requirements
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the pertinent regulatory requirements and risks inherent to job responsibilities, establish, and maintain control activities that mitigate those risks consistent with the Credit Union's risk appetite, and ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) related to software development (e.g., code quality, delivery time, bug resolution).
What We Offer
  • The salary for this position is between $135,000 – $150,000 annually.
  • Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
  • Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance.
  • This role is also eligible for bonus based on achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
