We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with expertise in Azure to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex data models, leading data analytics initiatives, and providing data architecture support to our clients.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop complex data models for large data warehouses and data lakes, ensuring they meet business needs and support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and document data architecture, including data flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, and data dictionaries, to support comprehensive and efficient data management.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and scripts to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective data models and solutions.
- Analyze and optimize data model performance, addressing any issues related to data processing, retrieval, and query execution.
- Conduct data quality assessments and ensure data models adhere to data governance and quality standards.
- Utilize Azure technologies and services (such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Azure SQL) to enhance data integration and processing.
- Apply knowledge of Banking KYC requirements to ensure data models support compliance and regulatory needs.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and methodologies in data modeling and apply them to improve data architecture and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Modeler/Architect with strong proficiency in SQL and database design.
- Proven experience as a Data Modeler with expertise in data modeling and database design.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and database management systems.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
- Experience with Azure technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL) is preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with the Banking KYC domain is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective data models.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in SQL and Azure are a plus.
