Job Title: Battery Management Engineer

Supernal is a pioneering company in the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) sector, developing an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle and the supporting ecosystem. Our mission is to create a sustainable, integrated, and human-centered mobility experience, prioritizing safety and reliability.

We are seeking a skilled Battery Management Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing the high-voltage battery management system, working closely with hardware and software engineers from multi-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop requirements for performance prediction algorithms
  • Verify model parameters against data collected during cell testing
  • Optimize algorithms for real-time computer resource constraints
  • Partner with the PMO organization to implement build plans
  • Up to 10% domestic and international travel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Experience with modeling tools like MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Simscape
  • Programming skills in C and C++ for real-time applications
  • Data analysis skills and scripting skills in Python
