Job Opportunity:

Potential adjunct faculty members are sought to join the team at Mount Wachusett Community College. The ideal candidate will possess skills, education, and experience in academic and/or professional areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Teaching in both traditional and non-traditional learning modes;
  • Instructional preparation;
  • Assessment of student performance, including submission of final grades in a timely fashion;
  • Availability to students by appointment when mutually convenient;
  • Participation in faculty meetings as required;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Masters degree with a major in the course content area;
  • Evidence of competence in the area of instruction;
  • Maintenance of expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of teaching experience in a community college setting.

Salary:

3 Credit Lecture: $4,191.00-$5,064.00
4 Credit Lecture: $5,588.00-$6,752.00
4 Credit Lab: $6,259.00-$7,562.00
