Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their practice. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Summary:
The LPN will perform various clinical tasks, including phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and IV therapy, under the supervision of physicians. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs procedures as requested, such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and IV therapy, if certified, X-rays.
  • Escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares them for examination or procedure according to physician preferences.
  • Exhibits sound clinical skills in assisting physicians with procedures, administering medication, and providing patient education.
  • Maintains stocked, neat, and clean examination rooms and common work areas on a daily basis.
  • Adheres to established policies and procedures, including OSHA guidelines.
  • Performs clerical duties necessary for physicians to see patients, contacts patients regarding test results, and schedules office and outpatient appointments efficiently.
  • Pulls and prepares patient records for physician review, as needed.
  • Performs all other duties assigned by supervisors, Site Managers, physicians, or Administrative staff.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or college credits preferred.
  • At least six months of experience in a similar clinical setting, preferably.
  • A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, required; Chest and Extremity X-ray certification, required for some positions.
