Mechanic Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Acme Barricades. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on vehicles and equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the maintenance department.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Mechanic or in a related field.
- ASE certification in diesel engines and/or heavy equipment repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment.
- Competitive hourly rate: $16.00-$20.00 per hour.
