Job Title: Mechanic

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Acme Barricades. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on vehicles and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the maintenance department.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Mechanic or in a related field.
  • ASE certification in diesel engines and/or heavy equipment repair.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment.
