Key ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and effective coordination of all departmental functions during assigned shifts. Working collaboratively with the management team, the CNC oversees nursing care in line with established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Primary Duties Include:
- Facilitating admission and discharge processes to promote efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Engaging in continuous evaluation of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
- Fostering teamwork among staff and subject matter experts to improve service delivery and outcomes.
- Upholding a patient-first philosophy and addressing service recovery when necessary.
- Implementing nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and operational efficiency.
- Assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff members.
- Managing staff schedules and ensuring alignment with patient care needs and productivity standards.
- Overseeing inventory management and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing; charge nurse experience preferred.
