Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of on-site pilot projects, which include product implementation and upkeep, management of sensor networks, and data gathering.
  • Oversee client operators to guarantee a successful demonstration of pilot projects.
  • Engineer, develop, and automate reactor systems to enhance lithium extraction from brine sources.
  • Support material and system evaluations, as well as validation in both laboratory and field environments.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation and operational guidelines.
  • Design, implement, and conduct laboratory and field experiments, document findings, and create presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage in technical reviews of requirements, outcomes, and specifications.
  • Facilitate communication with clients and partners regarding technology advancement and commercialization.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both English and Spanish.
  • Expertise in electronic circuit design and Arduino programming.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and fabrication techniques, including laser cutting and 3D printing.
  • Practical experience in material fabrication, reactor development, sensor networks, and data analysis.
  • Background in fieldwork and pilot system development.
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities, along with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (particularly in South America) as required by project demands.
