Facility Details:
The facility is a 78-bed establishment that includes specialized units for individuals with memory impairments, such as Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
Role Responsibilities:
As an integral member of the healthcare team, the LPN Intern will:
- Deliver high-quality care to residents, demonstrating strong critical thinking and assessment abilities.
- Administer medications safely and conduct thorough resident assessments.
- Monitor changes in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and execute treatments as per physician directives.
- Collaborate with the Charge Nurse in facilitating resident admissions and discharges, as well as in developing individualized Plans of Care.
Requirements:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and have completed their initial clinical rotation or have graduated from a State Board Certified Nursing program with prior NCLEX attempts.
Work Schedule:
This position operates on a PRN basis, offering flexibility in scheduling.
