Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our team at Indiana University Health. This is a unique opportunity to work with a collaborative group of physicians in a well-established, fast-paced academic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide adult cardiovascular surgery services, including CABG, Valve Replacement, TAVR, TEVAR, ECMO, VAD, Valve Repair, and Aortic and Thoracic Transplant
  • Lead the cardiovascular surgery service line and provide leadership to a team of physicians and staff
  • Participate in inpatient, outpatient, and OR coverage with shared call responsibilities
  • Contribute to a growing practice with highly collaborative and interdependent processes in place for successful patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to promote high-quality patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Qualified candidates must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent education
  • Completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship or integrated program
  • American Board Certification/Eligibility in Surgery
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and verbal communication skills
