Job Overview:

The Evening Facilities Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within the school premises during nighttime hours. This role involves a variety of custodial tasks aimed at ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces.
  • Manage waste disposal and ensure proper trash removal.
  • Assist in the setup of facilities for special events and external group activities.
  • Support snow removal efforts to maintain safe walkways.
  • Conduct general maintenance tasks to uphold the functionality of the facility.
  • Monitor the security of the premises during assigned shifts.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED is required. Previous experience in a custodial role is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 50 pounds. Occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds may be necessary.
