Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat various cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual functional needs.
  • Guide patients in sound production while enhancing their vocal abilities and fluency.
  • Assist individuals in improving their sentence structure and vocabulary in both written and spoken language.
  • Support both adults and children in strengthening the muscles involved in swallowing.
  • Provide counseling to individuals and families on coping strategies for cognitive, swallowing, and communication challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology program.
  • Valid clinical license in Speech Language Pathology in the state of Maryland.
  • Certification from the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association.
  • Preferred experience of one to two years in pediatric settings.

Work Environment:

  • In-clinic, home-based, and telehealth services.
