Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Thompson Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution, while also performing various clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and distributing medications under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists.
  • Perform clerical duties, including data entry and communication with patients and healthcare staff.
  • Develop and maintain aseptic techniques for the preparation of IV solutions.
  • Utilize the Hospital's Information System (Pharmacy and B/AR) and Microsoft's Word and Excel to manage tasks and data.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and healthcare staff.
Requirements
  • High School education with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
