The Culinary Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by consistently providing delicious and convenient food options through proficient and effective meal preparation, thereby enriching the overall entertainment atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and present food items according to guidelines to ensure freshness and availability for guest purchase.
- Oversee and uphold food and beverage quality to guarantee that guests receive products that elevate the Emagine entertainment experience.
- Maintain and organize the kitchen environment and equipment to ensure a clean and safe workspace for all employees.
- Rotate stock by labeling all food and beverage items to ensure effective monitoring and utilization for guest consumption.
- Execute daily closing tasks, including sweeping, mopping, stocking, and dishwashing to ensure the kitchen is clean and ready for the next shift.
- Support fellow team members as needed to foster an efficient and proactive work environment.
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Food and beverage quality consistently meets guest expectations. Items are readily available for consumption and adhere to established guidelines.
- The kitchen area is consistently clean and safe. Food items are stocked, dated, and rotated appropriately.

- Customer service goals are consistently achieved, and promotions are supported.
Basic computer skills are required.
