Position Overview:

As a Senior Engineer specializing in Applications, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering team, focusing on the development and implementation of advanced sealing solutions for various industries, including Aerospace and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert technical guidance to secure new business ventures.
  • Innovate and enhance technologies within key product lines, representing the company at industry conferences and developing a robust professional network.
  • Collaborate on the creation and refinement of products tailored to meet customer specifications.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of competitor offerings and market dynamics.
  • Lead project management initiatives for significant growth programs.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, including blogs, success stories, and training presentations.
  • Oversee the creation of training resources for Parker products, utilizing both in-person and virtual formats.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide technical support.
  • Generate detailed part drawings and assist with online technical assistance.
  • Support market research efforts in collaboration with Market Managers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and failure investigations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical.
  • 5-7 years of experience in technical sales, manufacturing, or engineering roles.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to articulate and analyze technical challenges.
  • Experience in Powertrain and Fluid Power applications is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of successful project completion and teamwork.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in creating 2D drawings and 3D models; familiarity with Inventor is a plus.
